Bala Amavasai
Bala Amavasai is Global Technical Director for manufacturing and logistics at Databricks, with over 25 years of experience in data and AI.
Prior to Databricks, Bala was the Head of AI at Stanley Black & Decker. Bala is currently serving as the Chair for the IEEE SMC Society in the UK & Ireland. He also serves as an industrial advisor to the EPSRC (Science/Engineering Research Council) Centre for Doctoral Training on AI, Machine Learning, and Advanced Computing.
He has a Ph.D. in machine learning from the University of Sheffield, UK.
Ted Orme
Ted Orme is responsible for driving the strategy for Qlik's data integration business in EMEA, guiding and supporting sales, partners, alliances, and product management.
He is a member of the Strategic Client Advisory team, leading Qlik's vision with our largest global customers; he helps customers accelerate business value through the full Qlik platform.
With over 20 years of industry experience, he is a leading spokesperson within the data integration space.
