One of the biggest hurdles facing manufacturers is the management of data stored in proprietary formats within disconnected silos, often from disparate sources such as ERP, CRM, SAP, IoT sensors and warehousing systems. Combining and processing this data efficiently to reduce costs and enable access to critical insights is essential for every manufacturer to remain competitive.

In this webinar, Bala Amavasai, Global Technical Director for Manufacturing and Logistics at Databricks, will discuss the data challenges that technical leaders in manufacturing are currently enduring. He’ll be joined by Ted Orme, Head of Data Ingestion at Qlik, who will explain how Databricks and Qlik have partnered to help companies leverage their IT and OT data and deliver real-time prescriptive insights to enhance efficiency, sustainability and productivity.

Specifically, they will explore how Databricks and Qlik solutions can:

  • Reduce the potential friction points in production, supply chains and warehouses and lower the cost of resources.
  • Minimise the impact of disruptive events such as pandemics, weather, disasters, geopolitical disturbances and more.
  • Improve Overall Equipment Efficiency to deliver more effective production and gain better business value.
  • Drive data-led decision making through modern analytics, real-time data sources and artificial intelligence.
  • Provide true end-to-end data governance and analytics by automating the entire pipeline, from real-time ingestion to the creation and streaming of trusted analytics-ready data.
