The Government was one of the first adopters of computers to automate big data. But these early investments have resulted in legacy systems, where data is isolated in silos, making federation impossible, and limiting the value of analytics. Many agencies have tried to mitigate this by replicating data across data warehouses, but this results in higher costs, governance, and versioning issues. The solution is a modern data lake in the cloud. During this session we will address the big questions and provide practical best practices:

  • How do we do this securely, reliably, and efficiently in the cloud?
  • How can we create a single source of truth?
  • How do we provide the data pipelines and tooling for BI, analytics and machine learning?

Join our breakfast event to learn how to overcome the challenges of building a scalable data lake in the cloud with a unified approach to data analytics powered by Databricks and popular open-source tools such as Apache SparkTM and Delta Lake. We’ll demonstrate how a modern data lake can dramatically reduce costs, and open the door to predictive analytics and analysis of all of your data. We’ll also share how Databricks, along with Immuta’s Automated Data Governance platform, enables you to easily scale analytics in the cloud in a secure, compliant, policy-driven and automated way. We’ll finish with a live demo and networking.
